The truth is we all have at one time or another.
And if you have, you are faced with what to do next. You understand at your core that if you make a promise, you are not only expected, but required to keep it. After all, you promised!
And this holds true when you make a promise or commitment in business. At our events we promise that you will have access, connections, collaborations and the big one, RESULTS. We promise this EVERY single time. We promise that you will move from best kept secret in your life, love, and business. It’s BIG and BOLD, but it’s also true!
To make sure we stay on track and serve the best of what we have after each live event we do a survey. The survey is designed to get honest and constructive feedback. If you ever want to know if you are delivering, do a survey that is not self-serving. That asks the tough questions, because that is what separates you from others and helps you improve.
Nowadays, very few live events send out surveys. Why? Because it’s scary! What if you were doing your best to deliver and FAILED? It happens. That’s learning and life!
Having just returned from our event in Sylvan Lake, I was looking forward to the feedback – every last bit of it – and this is why. Whether good, bad or indifferent we need to know so that we can continue to grow.
To my surprise, before the surveys were complete I received this glowing blog post. Not only does the post inspire me to get stronger, better, and go deeper, it ignites in me a desire to serve more!
I am sharing with you because it so hits every aspect of our event promise. I am gobsmacked, and I hope it inspires you to ASK your clients and customers how you are doing.

P.S. Oh and if you have broken a promise, put the BIG girl panties on and face it head on and do what you can to rectify it.
