Are you a Sip and Click kind of person?
If you have not heard of this phenomenon, it may be because you have never sipped and clicked, or you had but had no idea this was, in fact, a thing. Oh, and if you have participated in a sip and click while donning your favorite comfy PJ’s with your favorite glass of wine in hand, take note you are not alone. Rather you share this with hundreds of thousands worldwide who too are part of a continuous growing phenomenon.
What is ‘Sip and Click’? It’s likely you have guessed the gist of this catchy phrase. If not, it’s when alcohol meets shopping – usually in the evening, and usually after a drink or two. Hence the term to sip and click was created.
Marketers are well aware of this trend, and many have capitalized on the ease of which shoppers can make purchases.
The highest incidents of Sip and Click takes place on the weekend – Friday night sales lead by a whopping 48% over Monday night sales.
Interesting – this gives marketers something to ponder, but I also wonder if returns then go up come Monday morning?
I’m curious… Do you care if customers are purchasing while sipping?
Personally, my Sip and Click involves a cup of tea. I save my Prosecco sipping for fun times with friends.
Here’s to YOU!
